Freedom Day Program 2010 was rich, abundant and was saturated with holiday events, meetings and celebrations. Festive events dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of the BNR took place in different parts of the USA.
Belarusian Youth Movement in America March 21, Highland Park, New Jersey This year Freedom Day celebration started with holiday Mass in the Church of Zhirovichi Mother of God in Highland Park, NJ. The priest of the Belarusian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Father Zinovi observed in his speech: ”Freedom day falls on the Great Lent. We must remember how we obtained our independence for Belarus. To remember this day and to celebrate it is to pay our tribute to our heroic forefathers who procured a gift of independence in centenary struggle”.  Holiday Mass in the Church of Zhirovichi Mother of God March 21, New Brunswick, New Jersey In about an hour after the Mass approximately a hundred Belarusians gathered in Hyatt Regency Hotel to celebrate the greatest national holiday Freedom Day. The saturated holiday program was opened by chairmen of New York and New Jersey branches of the Belarusian-American association Vital Zajka and Jurka Azarka.

About 50 Belarusians from Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York gathered together to celebrate Freedom Day and took part in a holiday picket in front of the building of UN headquarters. The event was organized by the Belarusian Youth Movement in America.

Belarusians of San Francisco were dressed in national costumes, sang Belarusian songs (poems of Bagdanovich, song of Danchyk, Krambambulia and Lapis Trubetskoy), treated themselves to delicious Belarusian dishes and had a great time celebrating Freedom Day.
